TYA — Track Your Attendance

Why I built it

Students should be able to understand attendance risk without repeatedly calculating percentages by hand.

Problem being solved

Attendance records are often fragmented by subject, making thresholds and safe absences hard to evaluate quickly.

Key challenges

• Modelling subject-level totals and threshold projections clearly.
• Keeping edits predictable when schedules and records change.
• Presenting risk without encouraging misleading certainty.

Design decisions

• Put the current percentage and threshold state together.
• Use direct language for attend/skip projections.
• Keep course details and personal summaries easy to scan.
